all the other things I could write about today just don't want to sit still and let me write about them. that's okay, though. there's always tomorrow. and next week.
so this is a little project from a while back. I made a small set of stationery as a gift for a friend. it's just a few sheets of notepaper cut to fit some envelopes I had lying around, plus a few monogram stickers from a scrapbooking set, all wrapped up in a bit of vellum with swirls all over it and a little purple ribbon.
it was fun to throw together. I kind of wish I'd had a proper box to put it in. I should learn how to make a perfect stationery box. it wouldn't be so tricky, would it? maybe it would. I don't know until I try it. but who knows when I'll have another excuse for making custom stationery?
but do I need an excuse, after all? I guess I could make boxes anyway. just in case. you never know, right? and a few nice flat boxes for stationery would of course make a perfect storage places for all the collections of beautiful blank paper I have lying around in my bedroom.
