virtual academic-ing

as part of this virtual conference going on here at the end of the month, I was able to attend a workshop hosted by the very professor who once upon a time, almost 20 years ago now, assigned his professional writing students to create blogs and write every Wednesday about our webdesign readings. he's still teaching at dear old Utah State University. I should try to go visit again someday.
