on this Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in preparation for an evening of epic dungeons-and-dragons-ing, I helped build and paint some neat stuff with the husband.
I'm particularly pleased with this stone stairway, carved out of foam and glued and plastered and painted to look like something possibly neighboring the land of Mordor.
friends gathered, pizza was baked, and somehow our party of paladin, ranger, rogue, bard, and various knights all managed to rescue the enslaved people from beneath this desecrated mountain altar before the emerging Tarrasque monster could eat them all for breakfast.
then we ran away. even at level 9 we are not at all ready to fight a Tarrasque.
but we will be.
