working on

for 5340, my new friend Monica and I are working on a detailed descriptive bibliography of this book, which was printed in 1610. I also get to somehow create a facsimile of its title page. yep, the whole thing is in portuguese.

my case study for 5387 will focus on one or the other of these online publications:

this is all the busy-ness I was hoping for, and then some. wish me luck remembering to eat and sleep and trim my toenails while all this fascinating academic entanglement is going on.

sidenote: I was afraid Texas wouldn't have a real autumn, but this week has been delightfully chill, and I love it.
