preemptively belated

various notes on recent happenings:

i received isotope 4.2 in the mail yesterday. gorgeous and red and full of provocative poetry. i miss that internship. next week i plan to hop by the office on my way through the valley and see how they've been managing with their office plants.

starcustard chapter seven is struggling toward an end. it is a momentous chapter. just wait. you'll see.

in Altamont, there are two large deer killed and strung up in a tree. whenever i notice them as i drive past, i cringe. they don't look graceful and fine when they are strung up in a tree. they just look dead.

i'm packing up suitcases. filing pieces of here in envelopes, pieces of there on mental shelves. making plans. making christmas cards. i ran out of glue on sunday.

and such are the proceedings of this rainy winter.
